Help The Huntly Family

Help the Huntly family after they lost EVERYTHING in a house fire yesterday 15th January 2018. Unfortunately they didn’t have insurance, so will need to replace their whole lives. These are people that have contributed in the Ballarat community all their lives through kindergartens, School, sporting clubs and raising money for our local hospital year after year. Five people have been left homeless after this tragedy including two school aged children who have special needs, who watched all their worldly possessions go up in flames. My parents have been together since they were teenagers and over the years have endured much heartache with the loss of their two sons, and this is just another kick in the guts for these giving and caring people. My Dad, Mum, Sister and two nephews have lost everything that meant anything to them. The kids have lost Xmas presents, electronic games, clothes, new computers for school and bedding. To list what my sister and parents have lost well let’s just say everything you can think of and even more that you can’t. There are things that can’t be replaced such as things that were my brothers and family photos. My parents aren’t materialistic but the fact is they need beds to sleep in, chairs to sit on and the list goes on. I am asking for my community to help my family regain some dignity in this trying time.
