Hi. I am a friend of Emily and Will's and reluctantly, they have allowed me to start their GoFundMe page. Emily and Will live in the neighborhood of Coldstream in Columbia, SC and have been devastated by the damaging floods that have ripped through our neighborhood.
While they are trying to clean out their entire home of anything they can save, I am asking that anyone who can help to raise money for them and their two little boys, Ellis and Reed, please contribute here.
They have a long road ahead and any assistance would be greatly appreciated. We have removed everything from their home to begin ripping out the carpets and will soon be removing and replacing the walls and flooring in their home. There is no telling what underlying damage has been caused.
The money you donate here will be used to help buy supplies to repair all damages in their home, baby items, and any every day necessities they may need along the way.
They are very fortunate to have family in the area that they can stay with, however, this will help most when they evaluate their total loss and they start to rebuild.
I can't even begin to imagine the loss and devastation they are feeling at this moment, as they have lost personal items that can never be replaced. Wedding rings, baby pictures, sonograms, childhood photos, furniture, appliances, vehicles, among so many other things... They are so thankful to be safe and that they were able to get thier dogs and baby out of the house with water levels rising to almost 4.5 feet in some places of their home.
Any help you can give would mean the world to them. Thank you in advance for helping in any way you can.
