Helping a Friend in Need

Sometimes the hardest thing for a person to do is ask for help. And sometimes you need a friend to step in and assist you when you can't.
That is what I am doing with this GoFundMe account.
The picture above is a picture of Rachel, my friend since 2007. She is a lovely beautiful person!
So my friend, Rachel, is in a position where she had to swallow her pride and ask for help. She has had a lot of unforeseen emergencies, financial and medical, happen in her life recently that have left her with a financial problem. Part of it being she was unable to work most of November and all of December due to the aforementioned unforeseen circumstances! Since September she works for herself and also for Uber in order to make ends meet, so while being unable to work there was no money coming in to supplement her income such as from sick pay etc.
She now has more bills than money and is in real jeopardy of losing her home and car. I know how hard it will be for her to even think that I just wrote that! But pride must be let go at times like this!
I know there are tons of people out there that are compassionate and understanding of this type of problem!
I am hoping there are people that will read this and want to help her! There will always be bumps in the road! I for one want to be able to help others in the hopes that when and if my time of need comes, others will step up and assist me! And I can assure you that Rachel is a woman who will pay it forward when she in a position to do so!
I have given her what I can to help. But as I can only offer so much, I have created this campaign so that hopefully she may also rely on the kindness of strangers in order to help see her through this rough period.
Rachel is in need of money to pay her rent, car payment, insurance, cell phone, and back payments and late fees. The amount we are asking for is enough to do this and give her a little cushion so she has time to get on her feet again! While the amount seems large, it'll help cover just a little over two months of her obligated monthly expenses so that she can get on her feet again within that time.
I would be so grateful for anyone that can help my friend! Rent and car payment are due shortly as are electric and other utilities. Any amount is greatly appreciated! It can be $1.00 or $100...it ALL is appreciated! And it all adds up!

While it is hard to swallow your pride and ask for help, I want my friend to know people care! And it pays to step outside of your comfort zone and reach out to the kindness of others.....be it stranger or friend.
Although she is beginning to feel so, it is good to know Rachel is not defeated! It feels great to assist someone in getting back on their path! Please join me in helping her.
