My name is Hal J. Denison, age 73. I am married to Terry T. Denison, age 69.
I retired from the Merchant Marine as Ship's Radio Officer in 2006.
In 2004 I married Terry T. I was assigned to a USNS ship and was dispatched to the Persian Gulf for Iraq Freedom. Iam a Veteran of that WAR. That was my last assignment and it lasted from April to October 2005.
I have since worked in Security until January 2013 when my knee gave out and I had to have it replaced March 2014. I have not been able to work since.
My wife, Terry had a back fusion in December 2012, surgery for prolapsed Colon September 2013 and surgery to replace the fusion which broke. This operation took place in February 2014. She has not been able to work until this year, 2015 Terry has a job now but it pays minimum wage and is only part time.
During the period from 2012 to present we have used all of our savings.
I spend my time helping new Ham Radio operators and teaching the basic and advanced technical levels and help new Hams setup their stations: including designing and building antennas, teaching operating techniques. I have been Trustee to 2 club stations and am active in Emergency operations for the County. All this is volunteer by FCC rules.
