Brody Curtis Benefit Choral Concert

This campaign was set up for those interested in donating but unable to attend the Benefit Reunion Choral Concert being put on by Richard and Cathy Ryan for Brody Curtis.
Brody Curtis is the 6 year old son of Heather Hogg Curtis, one of Cathy’s former choir students. Brody was born with a rare skin condition called Epidermolysis Bullosa, or just EB for short. He is missing the collagen 7 protein that holds his skin layers together. As a result, his skin is very fragile and blisters or comes off with the slightest amount of friction. Brody has open wounds comparable to 3rd degree burns on about 80% of his body. As a result, he is wrapped in bandages from the neck down and must endure very painful bandages 2-3 times per week that last anywhere between 3-5 hours. Brody also takes many medications daily and must travel to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital almost monthly for various treatments and procedures. The survival rate for the type of EB Brody has is very low, and right now there is no cure.
All of his bandage supplies, medications, and hospital stays, as well as his mother missing work, is very expensive and hard on the family. Your donation will go directly towards the growing costs that Heather faces while taking care of Brody.
