Aloha! Please Kokua if possible in helping provide a little financial relief for Damian after his severe & unfortunate hand injury.
Expert Bird Trainer Damian was involved in an industrial accident that sadly cost him most of his index finger on his right hand. Unfortunately, the finger could not be saved due to nature of the damage.
Damian Rumbough has had an affinity for all animals since his Childhood. Growing up in Bermuda, and then Hawaii, he quickly rose to become an expert in his chosen field of professional trainer. He interned at Hawaii’s SEA Life Park before he moved to Florida with his partner and loving wife Ashley, also a fellow trainer and animal enthusiast.
Due to the nature of this injury, Damian had to undergo emergency situation on his right and dominate hand. Our prayers and thoughts are with him through this recovery. We also are praying for his newlywed Wife Ashley to continue to be the strong rock as always. His family is by his side supporting him with love and prayer. Damian is a uniquely qualified animal expert whose lifelong love for all species shines through his dedication to his birds. He is a teacher and protector whose skill and knowledge knows no bounds. He is a man that works with his hands in conjunction with his intimate knowledge of animals to provide them with a healthy, happy and purposeful life. There is no doubt that he will bounce back and conquer any challenges encountered as a result of this injury. I attest that I have never known a harder worker in my life who redefines the words “commitment” and “passion.” If you can help in any way, your generosity will be greatly appreciated as needed assistance through the long road of recovery.
