Gilbert family loses everything In Toronto flood
Donation protected
Family of 6 lost everything due to a water main breakage.
In the early hours of January 24, 2019, the Gilbert family was awakened at 311 Dixon rd, by rushing waters through out their home becuase of a water main breakage that reached as high as chest level.
Opal Gilbert, mother of 3 and grandmother of twin girls had moved her family to Canada from Jamaica almost 4 years ago.
She does everything she can to be Able to provide for her children and has always put them first.
Unfortunately, the damages has caused them to lose everything that they worked so hard for and now they have nowhere to live, so we are asking for the communities help.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated as they will be starting from nothing due to something that was completely out of their control.
