My name is Kellie Greene, I am Richard Hitchcock's cousin (our mother's are sisters). Since 2012, I have been investigating Richie's case by collecting tips, doing follow up interviews, contacting property owners, then taking search teams, cadaver dog teams, ground penetrating radar teams to properties to search for him. Excavations, foundation drillings and other projects have also been performed at my request in the search for my missing cousin. In recent month's, Richie's brother Steve has joined me in efforts of finding his brother. Please read the story below......
Richard Hitchcock has been missing believed deceased and a victim of homicide. He's been missing since December 22, 1990 from Allegan, MI. His case is currently a cold case and is not an active case.
We as his family currently are investigating to try to locate his remains. We collect tips, follow up on them by talking to folks, and have done such things as ground searches, K9 cold case cadaver dog searches, ground penetrating radar searches, excavations, ground sampling for human remains and much more.
We are asking for your donation for a few reasons one being, so that we can help compensate some of these teams who come in to search with us. Our K9 team comes from almost 2 hours away, our ground penetrating radar team travels over an hour. We also have other expenses which have needed to be paid for such as excavators, in another search, funds will be needed for tools and materials for repairing the area where we are working once we are finished. Kind people allow us onto their property to perform many of these searches and sometimes we have to do things to thier property to get our task complete, once we do that, we then have to fix and repair the area where we have worked.
Because we are taking our investigating seriously, we cannot disclose the exact tasks that we perform nor where and when, but rest assured, we always notify law enforcement of what and where we are doing something.
December 22, 2015 will be 25 years since we've seen Rich and we keep investigating because we deserve to know where he is, give him a proper burial, and have some sort of closure of what happened to him. Your help will be greatly appreciated in our quest to bring our loved one home to us.
