Duke's Emergency Neurologist Apt

Donation protected

Duke my 5 and 1/2 year old Pitt bull mix has already been diagnosed as epileptic, has cardiac issues, and is now having issues with some new severe problem that seems to be neurologically related. His other health problems are being effectively managed with consistent medication. However now he is having collapse issues where he collapses during play, causing him to fall to the ground and not get up right away. He is consistently exhausted and very weak particularly in his hind end. This problem makes him sometimes hold bowel movements(since he has a hard time holding himself up), limits any and all activity he is capable of like playing with my dogs and doing stairs. Lately along with these collapse episodes he is getting extremely blood shot dull eyes, spasms of his face, eyes, and limbs which seems to be neurological. These "episodes" were only happening on occasion until recently. He had a cardiac check up recently that rules out his heart being the cause of these issues so now I need to, for the sake of him find out what else is causing this so I can manage it and he can have as healthy and happy of a life as possible. He is so young, I feel he deserves that and I need to do everything I can to ensure that for him. His issues already as it is are so expensive for me to manage for him, after his recent expense from his cardiac check up I no longer have the means to take care of this for him. His appointment is on monday november 11/6 at 10am. It is an urgent appointment so it needed to be scheduled as soon as possible with a neurologist specialist out of HOPE Veterinary Specialists office in Malvern, PA. Something is still really wrong and getting progressively worse. Please help me give him the quality of life he deserves.
