Beloved Bob's Road to Recovery
He's still in a medically induced coma and on a paralytic to keep him in a deep healing state to conserve his energy to heal his brain function. It's all about deep rest. He's had 4 heart stents put in and in ICU for at least another 4 or more days. His body has been through massive shock and a lot will depend on his neurological state when they wake him up from the coma. This is a marathon not a sprint.
I imagine if all goes "well" I will be off work for awhile and then a reduced schedule....Bob will be unable to work for months. At the same time our income drops dramatically, our medical bills will be skyrocketing. Not a good combo. I'm asking you to gift bob what you can. He will have had an ambulance trip, a major heart surgery, been in the ICU for almost a week, with 24/7 one on one care (amazing) and then will be going for cardiac rehab to a transitional center in Arroyo Grande, CA. possibly for months. It's all very uncertain right now.
What IS certain is that we don't have the money to absorb this tsunami in our life. This is going to be very expensive and We need help and we need lots of it. Helping Bob financially will be a miracle gift that will really show him we all mean business and LOVE HIM DEEPLY! I love you all and am living in deep gratitude that he is still alive. He needs us all to keep going with the love vibrations, It's working. Please SHARE this Gofundme FAR and WIDE and please consider that even a dollar has power when multiplied. Just like Love.
i will be VERY transparent with the distribution of money as the bills roll in! This will be very expensive and I'm trusting that we can do this with all your help ❤️
It's been a long and intense road to NOW with our experience of the heart attack and the present moment! We still have a long way to go and we have the resources to thrive!
So, where are we now? We have a number of cardiac rehab appointments under our belt and we are continuing it at home now with daily walks to work that heart muscle! We are both educating ourselves on what a ❤️ Heart healthy lifestyle looks like and what he can cook to support his greatest health.
Bob will be returning to part time work on June 20th and we will meet that moment when it comes...that's kind of our new motto...we arise to meet each moment and what it brings with an awareness that we can't control a single thing! What we can do is support his healthy new lease on life!
His heart is flowing freer than ever before and we are grateful that we get to share each second as it is. This has deepened our bond and we are determined to USE IT to bring Heart health awareness to our community. We have a fundraiser tomorrow morning (June 3rd) that is being organized by his Personal Trainer, Mike Robinson, of MZR fitness in San Luis Obispo, CA.
DETAILS ARE BELOW!
As I begin to navigate the world of medical finances all I can say is THANK YOU ALL for donating every dollar you have. It's such a blessing to be supported by our friends, family, and community in this. We are truly filled with gratitude for the love, grace, and generosity shown to us from everyone.
So, THANK YOU ALL FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS ♥️ Every step of this journey has been blessed with best outcomes and challenges and we are determined to THRIVE through this!
We still need help and ask for food, visits, donations, and cards for bob....we aren't done but we are through the initial phase and now the "work" kicks in...the daily commitment to health and healing slowly but surely. With your guidance, love, and support...WE can do this...we ARE doing this :) Thank you ⭐️⭐️

Secondly...the fact that people are donating the way they are is ASTOUNDING and SO heartening. It's lifting some of the stress and worry about the massive expenses we are incurring on an hourly basis! My beautiful Lion ain't cheap apparently! Here I thought I was the "shopper" in the family ;) so THANK YOU from everything in me to you...I bow to your generous natures and your human compassion.
We have some developments that we are keeping an eye on and I would prefer for us to pray so beautifully, that these concerns just evaporate and resolve. Let's keep surprising the staff here at French Hospital in San Luis Obispo, CA. It's quite the ride and it's a bit like walking a tightrope between hope and watchful caution.
He is still in ICU and does not have a date to get out into the "regular" part of the hospital. The staff really doesn't dwell in the future here...we live in the right now and the next few hours. Bob is really strong, joking around and doesn't yet understand the gravity of his current situation. It's beginning to dawn on him but I can only imagine what HE is experiencing. All he remembers is going to bed the night before his Heart attack and waking up in the hospital (3 days later) Ahhh, the protective power of our minds!
It's currently 3 something in the morning (sleep is a dim memory at this point) I'm Trying, but...you know. Again, THANK YOU for the donations to Bob and most importantly, please keep him wrapped up in a golden cocoon of light and prayer. We are helping him immensely and we need to keep going...thank you!
