Nathan McCaffrey   LIBERAL, KS
I'm Nathan, President of the Liberal Bee Jays. We are located in Liberal, KS. The Liberal (KS) Bee Jays is a collegiate summer baseball team.   Kaiser was the 9 year old batboy for the team. Kaiser was accidentally hit in the head during a baseball game in Wichita, KS.  He was severely injured and passed away the next day.  We are raising money to defer medical expenses,  to assist the family with funeral expenses, to possibly establish scholarships or other funds for youth sports and to generally support the family , all in Kaiser's name.  We are working with a local accounting firm in Liberal, KS to manage and distribute the donations in a responsible manner.

Kaiser you were a wonderful little boy. Your heart wasn't just out on the baseball field. It was out on the mat as well. I'll never forget the memories we all made at wrestling tournaments. Remember the time I thought I broke my wrist while chasing you around? I think I cried, but I still wrestled that day. You had so much potential, and it kills me to see it cut short. I'm praying for you and your family.

Read that his organs will be donated...what a gift. His loss is so tragic, but he has left behind a gift for other children, and in doing so, he will continue to live! Rest, sweet Kaiser.

This is what life is about. Caring for others in the most hardest situations. I do not know the family but the out pour of love for this family and little boy brings me to tears. I am going through nursing school and this is another moment that opens my eyes to such compassion people have for one another. This is a moment where humanity is at its finest. Prayers to the family, little boy, and team. He's made an impact on the world. #KC

Awesome to think $109,490 raised by 2755 people, that means an average donation of $39.56 per person. God love this Child. We as Americans big, small, rich and poor are equally touched by a young man who passed away all too soon. May our Lord shine his Mercy on his loving family and keep Kaiser alive in memory for generations to come.
