Cristobal’s Medical Expenses

Cristóbal Sánchez Gómez is my cousin of 34 years old. He’s originally from Mexico where he has a wife and two children ages 12 and 6. Cristobal worked in the construction industry and has always kept his family first priority. His dream of giving his family a better life turned into a nightmare last Tuesday on 10/10/17 when he was coming back from Walmart. An unknown suspect approached Cristobal with intentions of robbery with a drawn gun in the Cottonwood area. Cristobal tried fleeing but the suspect shot a total of 8 bullets to his body: 3 to the chest, 2 in his arm, 2 to his back, and 1 to his head. The crime happened 6 mins away from his home and he DROVE back to his apartment and went to his neighbor for help where 911 was contacted and transported to Regional One in critical condition. Miraculously, he has survived and is out of danger with only a fractured shoulder and amputated left eye due to the bullet’s impact. His medical expenses and prosthetic are high and will need your help to get through this traumatic experience. Su sueño de darle a su familia una vida mejor se convirtió en una pesadilla el martes pasado el 10/10/17 cuando regresaba de Walmart. Un sospechoso desconocido se acercó a Cristóbal con intenciones de robo con una pistola desenfundada. Cristóbal trató de huir, pero el sospechoso le disparó un total de 8 balas a su cuerpo: 3 al pecho, 2 en el brazo, 2 en la espalda y 1 en la cabeza. El crimen ocurrió a 6 minutos de su casa y regresó a su departamento y fue a buscar ayuda a su vecino, donde contactó al 911 y lo trasladó a Regional One en estado crítico. Milagrosamente, él ha sobrevivido y está fuera de peligro con solo un hombro fracturado y el ojo izquierdo amputado debido al impacto de la bala. Sus gastos médicos y protésicos son altos y necesitará su ayuda para superar esta experiencia traumática.
