Help Christina Fight Cancer

My life partner , Christina and I are a long haul trucking team. Empty nesters looking for highways we have never been down. We have run from Coast to coast, into the Yukon, northwest territories. The ice roads and more. For the last ten years we have rarely been apart. She is the mother of two and a grandmother. So much life ahead of her to be lived. Then on Sept. 20th, 2017. Coming into Edmonton from the west coast Christina told me she had a really bad headache and needed to go to the hospital. There she waited in agony at emergency for 4 hours before anyone saw her. They treated her for a migraine and told her to leave. So we rested at Edmonton and carried on east in the morning. 6 hours later she was in incredible pain coming into north battleford, Sk. I called an ambulance to meet our truck on the highway. They rushed her to the hospital, performed a CT scan which showed she had bleeding in her brain. Then they arranged for an ambulance to take her to the university hospital in Saskatoon, Sk. After another CT scan and an MRI. A tumour near the centre of her brain was located, and there is no other tumours in her body. A biopsy was performed . Christina was given lots of pain meds and steroids to reduce the swelling in her brain. That's working. Ten days after the biopsy the doctor calls today with the pathology results. She has a glioblastoma grade 4 tumour . Chemotherapy and radiation will begin soon. Next week right here in Saskatoon. She is going to fight for her life ! She is going to fight hard with every fibre of her being. She is going to fight for everyone that has gone before and everyone that will come after !
