4-H is a local non-profit youth group. 4-H is over 100 years old and has been in Prince George since the 1970's.
- We are raising our future famers and part of the lessons are economic. Like any business, they need to know if they are profitable or not.
- How much does it cost you to raise this animal?
- Is your feed method efficient or are there ways to save money (price per pound)?
In order to track this, we need a portable & efficient weigh scale. Our current one is dated and can no longer be maintaned.
We have already raised $9,000 towards our goal and that gets us halfway there. We are asking for your help to reach our goal.
The world needs farmers and we need to teach them to be better, more productive farmers as the cities expand on our farm land.
