Donate To Nicholas Edwards Recovery

Over Labor Day weekend, Nicholas was hiking with friends at Interstate Park and had an accident that resulted in him falling off a 75 foot cliff overlooking the St. Croix River. Miraculously, doctors from the U of M Medical Center were rock climbing close by and were able to get to him. A fisherman near by was able to ferry supplies accross the river (as they area is only accessible by boat) in order for the doctors to stabilize him and then they brought him back across. They loaded him into an ambulance, brought him to a helicopter, and airlifted him to HCMC in Minneapolis. Nicholas was sedated and kept unconscious due to minor bleeding in his brain, but it has since subsided, and he's awake and lucid now. He has a broken nose, several fractured bones, and many lacerations all over his body. Nicholas, his family, and his friends would like to express their dearest gratitude to all the first responders who helped save his life. It's a long road ahead for Nicholas in many respects, but he is expecting to make a full recovery. Nicholas and his family are about to head into an uncertain financial time for at least the duration of his recovery, and any donation you're able to make will make an incredible difference.
