Verlene Johnson Fire Tragedy

Verlene Johnson lost her life in a fire at Willow Creek apartments in Westland. She was the survivor of a double organ transplant for 16 years. She was blind and in a wheelchair. We are raising money to help with funeral costs as she had no life insurance and her surviving husband, Charles is on disability. Not only did Charles lose his wife in this fire he lost all his clothing and any other belongings. Our goal is to cover funeral expenses and help Charles start to move on.
