Harvey Relief For David

I am an artist from Houston Texas and a long standing Coach at Gymnast Factory that got overwhelmed by Hurricane Harvey's arrival! I lost my vehicle, lots of art, furniture, computer items, recording equipment, art books, clothes and art hardware and supplies in the rising water.

I was working on art the night before and woke up the next morning to water rapidly coming in from the doors. I grabbed a bag and threw in toiletries and clothes and ran out to knock on neighboring doors and wake up my friend that was fast asleep a few doors down. We ended up waiting it out on the second floor as we watched the waters rise until volunteers arrived by boat to deliver us to a shelter.

I was able to salvage some clothing and dry out a few things but lost most everything due to water damage. Sadly, renters insurance covers electrical and wind but not flood. Anything is appreciated. Thank you so much.
