Help screen veterans for HepatisC

Veterans Voice Inc, a Weymouth Mass based 501c3 Corporation, partnered up with the Boston VA HealthCare System, Orasure Technologies Inc, Health Watch Inc, Mass General Hospital Veterans Volunteers, The Nantasket-Hull Rotary, Gilead Pharmaceuticals, and The American Red Cross to provide FREE HepatitisC screening to 97 veterans, of which 7 tested positive, at the Boston Stand Down held on Government Center in Boston on September 8th, 2017.
Gregg Brasso, President of Veterans Voice Inc and host of Veterans Voice Radio on WATD959fm, assembled this team to provide veterans with rapid results of a screening test (30 minutes) which will determine exposure to the HepC virus prior to the onset of any symptoms.
Those veterans that have been exposed received immediate VA attention and will start the appropriate treatment process.
This event will kick off a series of events across New England and eventually across the United States. The team hopes to test 6,000 veterans in the next 18 months.
