4 Brad Pitt~bull (Knee replacemen)

Hi everyone!! Brad Pitt~bull is an extremely handsome, intelligent, friendly, loyal and loving pitt mix. He is a tremendous athlete running trails with many mountain bikers over the years and was an official member of the Sufferfest riding team.
He cant run any more because he has totally torn his right ACL.
We adopted Brad from the Delaware Humane Society in 2007. They had named him Adam at the shelter. After we brought him home I kept thinking, he does not look like an Adam, he is SO handsome...as handsome as Brad Pitt...hmmmm... Brad Pitt~ bull...!! Yes!!
Well shortly thereafter Brad proceeded to chew up my riding helmet and my bike shoe, I was quite angry so I got on my bike and said "lets go Brad"
From that day on Brad has run faithfully beside me and eventually joined in on our group rides. Everyone was amazed at his trail ettiquette and intense focus on keeping up with the riders.
Brad is also an avid kayaker, he rides with me or ofter swims beside me. He is a POWERFUL swimmer and LOVES the water. The water.....is a main reason why I want to preserve Brads health and life for as long as possible. He literally saved my life several years ago when we were kayaking at the Delaware Water Gap.
My kayak capsized in the middle of the deepest, widest section of the river. I was trying to hang on to my paddle but it was actually pulling me under. I am not a strong swimmer and there was no one nearby to help me and I was at a point of thinking this may be the end of me today. The next thing I knew Brad swam up to me and grabbed the sleeve of my T shirt at my shoulder and he started pulling me toward the shore. The current was very strong but he never let go of my shirt. Finally 2 people pulled up to us and the lady says"looks like your dog needs some help with you!" Between Brad and the lady, I got back to the embankment.
From that point on Brad seems compelled to follow me into the water to keep an eye on me.
At the ocean, Brad bounds over the waves and has beach goers in stitches as he insists on pulling kids on boogie boards back onto the beach to safety.
Brad, as many people know this story of him diving off a very high cliff into a very deep quarry to swim beside a deer that was in the water....I take it he was trying to save the deer from drowning...to my horror i thought they were both going to drown but Brad steered the deer to the shoreline where I stood having heart failure.
Needless to say there are many fascinating stories surrounding this very special dog which is why I desperatly want to preserve his health and his life.
After chasing a groundhog last week he came back totally unable to put weight on the right rear leg.
X~rays show a totally torn ACL, miniscus damage and bone spurs. It is tearing me up seeing him in this condition but the estimated $4000 surgery is nowhere in my sight and I am asking for help to restore my beloved Brad Pitt to his best of health.
