College Dream For Homeless Youth

Hello, my name is Izhaunne Baker. I am 21 years old. I am studying Theater Arts at Berkeley City College. I also work as an intern at Berkeley Youth Alternatives. I have been homeless for more than a year. I recently moved in to a transitional housing program for homeless youth. I am savoring the stability and opportunities I have here, but am struggling to get on my feet. I really need a laptop and other supplies for school. My mother always encouraged me to succeed in life, no matter what hardships we faced. So despite every struggle, I have kept dreaming.
