47mile Coast Walk & 24Hr Boxathon

Not doing things by halves of course !! TeamABC have set up 2 challenging events to try and raise funds for the club.
The first event which takes place 28th-29th July is the ‘Coastal Walk Challenge’This is part of the National Trails following the Coastal path for 46.9 miles from Hunstanton to Cromer. This ambitious challenge to raise funds for the club sees walkers hike over field, sand and stony beaches with the distance all being achieved in just 24 hours.
Expect a physically demanding challenge , some beautiful scenery and an unforgettable sense of achievement and emotion when you cross the finish line at Cromer Pier.
This challenge will be broken down into the following stages:
Stage 1 – Hunstanton to Thornham (5.9 miles)
Stage 2 – Thornham to Burnham Deepdale (6.1 miles)
Stage 3 – Burnham Deepdale to Holkham (7.7 miles)
Stage 4 – Holkham to Stiffkey (6.0 miles)
Stage 5 – Stiffkey to Cley (7.0 miles)
Stage 6 – Cley to Weybourne (5.6 miles)
Stage 7 – Weybourne to Cromer (8.6 miles)
This is for all ABC Boxers, including Young Rockys, as well as Family members, Friends and even your dogs to join us in this 24hr challenge to walk part or the whole 46.9 miles. Please contact us if you wish to take part to receive a sponsorship form and more details if required.
The aim is to have taken part in some if not all of this challenge! Its a challenge for all abilities and ages and its hoped that many supporters of the club will also join in for the experience as well as raising funds for ABC.
The second event which takes place 4th-5th August is the ’24 Hour Boxathon’
Starting at 12pm on the Saturday this extremely tough challenge sees members taking part in boxing drills , training circuits , bag and pad work , distance runs and more all over a full 24 Hours (of course there will be small intervals in between the various activities lined up)
Expect a very physical and gruelling challenge , sweat will be lost and the mind and body will be put to the test. This event really sees everyone coming together as a team as shows the strong unity we have within our club. Despite feeling drained, upon completing this challenge you will have a feeling of great accomplishment and personal triumph.
This event is for all ABC Members, including Young Rockys. Please contact us if you wish to take part to receive a sponsorship form and more details if required.
The aim is to have taken part in some if not all of this challenge! those that are unable to do the full 24 hours can drop in and out throughout the event at whatever time they choose. Its a challenge for all abilities and ages and its hoped that many members of the club will join in for the tough yet enjoyable experience as well as raising funds for ABC.
Not all members will be available or able to do both events which isn’t a issue they will just get a sponsored for whichever event they are partaking in, whilst others who are doing both challenges are not required to be sponsored for both.
