Save a Dancer's (and Musician's) Home

After paying mortgage all these years, I, like so many others, fell behind. And now of course the bank and it's lawyers are beginning the foreclosure procedures.

Unlike so many others, this house has been more than paid for. Out of a $50,000 loan, already $72,000 has been paid. So, to keep it, I can either pay the balance remaining in the loan (about $18,000), or there can be a "deal" with their law firm where I pay (quickly) about $6000 to just get re-instated on the loan and pay off their lawyers who are adding in fee after fee...

I have spent most of my adult life as a performer and before that doing healing work with people... Always I have striven to create more joy and beauty in this world for all to enjoy (not always being as successful at it as I would like, but hey, I am human, too!). I do so hope to be able to stay in my home and continue to as much as possible to be a creator of joy, healing and beauty in this world. Seems that would most easily accomplished by having a stable home to come to at night...

So, you wonderfully generous people, I ask for your kind assistance in this...

For whoever hasn't heard by now....

Well... got the news last Friday that my running Chase's and PITE Duncan's (Chase's lawyers) obstacle course and getting my money in "through the back door" actually worked...

"Your client has fulfilled his obligation so we will no longer be moving ahead with this foreclosure" said they to the wonderful attorney friend that's been helping me. The process of removing my house from foreclosure will take another 2-3 weeks to complete is what they also said...

"Hallelujah" said my spirit when I heard this news...

We'll really party in 2-3 weeks... Thank you everyone who helped with either effort or contributions... and thank you Universe ("Creator", "God", whichever name one chooses) for pulling through with the miracle of one of my cars selling at the last minute bringing in the remaining money that was needed! Hooray!!

So, today's the day that I have a chance to pull my house out of foreclosure and go back to living a "normal" life.... With the added fees that have been (again) put in, I am about $1100 short of my goal....

So.... if you have been considering making a donation (or even a loan), today would be a great day to do it! (a loan could likely even be repaid by the end of this week or the next)...

Or if you want to order a drum, this also would be a great day to do it!
Here's the link for donations... Thanks for all that has come so far.... This truly has created hope, where before it had felt lost... In Gratitude, Alfredo

I have finally heard from Chase's lawyers at PITE Duncan... They have been dragging their feet and of course, more expenses have been being added in... So, at this point I have until October 28 to come up with $1600 more than I've got in order to get the house out of foreclosure... So, please, if you feel moved to donate, or to donate again, or hire me to come teach a dance and/or drum workshop, or even put in an order for a drum, every little bit has been helping... It will be so good to get through all this and finally be able to fully focus on life again...

The upside of all this is that the people working at the Chase branch, who actually have been helping me through all this are rather appalled at the way I am being dealt with... I had the pleasure the other day of hearing the bank manager give a pretty intense lecture to the person on the phone about this not being a way to treat anyone... Love it that even the people at the branch are pulling for me to get through this as well....

Oh, and if you know anyone who would like to buy a car in Hawai'i, that's another way that will help... Thanks for everything so far, and for that which is yet to come... Blessings!

So, a wonderful thing has happened... a dear old friend has loaned me money to pay enough to re-instate my loan.... !

The obstacle that remains is that both Chase and it's lawyers at PITE Duncan are dragging their feet in giving me a new loan re-instatement quote (10 days now)... likely so they can continue to add new fees on top.... Ahhhh.... I love so much dealing with "honest" people who say they are "all about helping you stay in your home".... I do hope that from here on actions will be in alignment with words...

Anyway, all donations that come in from here onwards will go towards paying any excess fees so that I can stabilize my situation and to pay back this wonderful friend from an earlier part of my life who has so generously stepped forward...

And thank you all again... those who have donated and those who intend to.... every little and large bit has been helping.... amazingly!
