Waterarms over Firearms is a peace initiative that celebrates play, non violence and black excellence. The Super Soaker was invented by black Engineer Lonnie Johnson with the intent of providing a safe and fun way to play in the summer. A gun that uses water, the element of life as it's ammunition. The very antithesis of a firearm.

In the summer 2018 I would like to have a huge watergun fight in Philadelphia bringing in people of all ages in to celebrate this invention and share this fun and peaceful activity. I'd like to have at least 1000 waterarms to proliferate the area and encourage the young people to enjoy and be inspired by the superior armament. Waterarms are greater than Firearms! The goal would be to capture energy of the water festivals of south east Asia. Waterguns are now fully integrated into those celebrations

The water arms I will acquire will cost around 2-6 dollars. I have already purchased 40 from amazon at a cost of around 5.75 a piece.


I would also like to organize a workshop exploring the scientific principles behind super soaker technology and encourage participants to design their own water arms.
