The 200 Mile (320k) Grind…..AND A SPECIALTY COFFEE SHOP!!!
Starting on the 10th of November, 2016 (my 34th Birthday) I will be running from Bargara, QLD to Kai Coffee Headquarters on The Sunshine Coast….WHAT AN EPIC JOURNEY!
Why run 200miles you ask? Well, yes, I am a little loco and also, I love to test myself physically, mentally and emotionally with BIG challenges! This will be my longest running adventure to date and I cannot wait to give it a crack!
In conjunction with the event, I am looking for your help and partnership! I am super stoked to announce that in the next month or two (if all goes to plan!) I will be opening my own specialty coffee/health café called The Journey – Health, Adventure, Compassion, using Kai Coffee’s beautiful beans, at Bargara. This has been a dream of mine for a number of years and I cannot wait to get started! If you were interested in helping fund the venture and get something in return, I would be absolutely honoured. For your generosity, this is what you will receive…
For every $50 increment you donate, you will receive five free coffees at The Journey upon opening (with a limit of 50 free coffees). Eg. $100 donation = 10 free coffees! Easy! Just bring in your receipt or ‘Thanks’ note and Ill take care of your free brews! Y’all get to help open a rad new entrepreneurial venture I have been dreaming about for years and enjoy some top beverages as a reward!
Last but surely not least, 10% of all donations will be given back to Kai Coffee, for them to use in their child sponsorship program. Currently, they donate two dollars for every kilo of coffee roasted to rescue children in developing nations, so with your help and by The Journey using their beans, even more kids can be reached!
