The tree of life foundation

My name is Shelly Trautman I am the loving mother of D'Angelo Wilson that was brutally murdered August 6th  of 2014.  He was only 18 and a honor student with a heart of gold.  He was one of the greatest people I have ever met  and just so happened to be my son ..  He volunteered for so many things in his life, he was so caring and dedicated to life..  D'Angelo worked two jobs while graduating to go to college, he was just two weeks short of leaving for college before he was shot in the back of the head and died at the University of Cincinnati. D'Angelo was a organ donor and last Christmas we were invited to put an ornament on the tree of life at the University of Cincinnati, but when we got their the tree was much to small for all of the ornaments and the stories telling about who they were.  I actually reorganized the tree myself because some ornaments were on the back of the tree and loved ones wouldn't be able to view the ornaments,  I figured if I could raise the money we could donate a bigger, but wider tree for all the ornaments to be visible on the front of the tree and not the back.. Every year this tree adds more ornaments and more stories, my sons being one of them it would be an honor to help raise this money...  To everyone who has lost a loved one that is an organ donor, we can help save lives and let this tree tell their stories...
