The Blood It Takes 2 Keep Living

Hello everyone, my name is Ke'Aujanaa. My friends and family call me Nielle. I just want to say due to fifteen years of living with sickle cell anemia, unmanageable pain, acute chest syndrome, in which prohibits me to breath on my own. Pneumonia takes place causing breathing treatments. Many blood transfusions to subdue pain! Although sometimes it's hard to find plasma that match due to antibodies and now it has come time for a bone marrow transplant. Along with chemotherpy to try and kill off the sickling cells in order to protentially become sickle cell anemia free. Overall I want to overcome this with no set back. Continue to educate myself medically and in school academics in order to be a mogul for sickle cell awareness in my community for others who have sickle cell.
