This is Boo. Boo is a 2 year old Mastiff-mix who stays here at The Dog Cafe in Los Angeles, CA. The Dog Cafe serves as a halfway home for rescue pups. We help rehabilitate dogs with medical or behavior issues to increase their chances of finding their perfect forever homes! We work closely with volunteers at local, high-kill shelters to rescue dogs who are in need of some extra attention before being adopted out. A little bit about Boo..Before arriving at The Dog Cafe, Boo had a pretty rough start. She was returned to the shelter three times in her very first year. She had been adopted out to families that didn't want to the take time to properly raise a puppy. The third time Boo was returned to the shelter, she had a broken knee, along with some serious separation anxiety due to being abandoned 2 times before. Although her adopters claimed they had no clue how her knee had become broken, we are pretty sure they were the cause. At 2 years old, Boo is full grown and in dire need of the surgery to fix her broken knee. It isn't strong enough to support this big, beautiful girl. Boo is full of so much love and can always put a smile on anyone's face. Now it's our turn to get our girl strong and happy. We are asking for any donations, big or small, to help fund Boo's surgery. Every dollar counts and is greatly appreciated by Boo and our staff here at The Dog Cafe LA.
