Help Lisa Recover

In the late hours of August 23rd, Lisa and her husband Robert headed to bed like any other evening. Within minutes, Robert would be struck with pulmonary cardiac arrest and would be rushed via ambulance to the hospital. There, Lisa and her family received the news that doctors were unable to save Robert.
Although, each of us does our best to plan for these emergencies, one is never truly ready, emotionally or financially, for losing the love of her life and a life-long partner. Lisa and Robert have been together since Lisa was 15-years-old. She lost someone with whom she spent over three-quarters of her life. She is now left to manage, on her own, the life they both created, while also caring for her mother who suffers from Alzheimer's disease.
It is my hope that we can come together and try to alleviate some of the stress that will undoubtedly begin pushing down on Lisa as she returns to her life without Robert. Lisa will face hospital bills, as well as all of her and Robert's day-to-day bills that were previously managed with a two-person income. Robert was the primary income in the family and, with him gone, it will cause a great burden for Lisa; and, although she and Robert had interment arrangements already in place, the cost of memorial and burial services are much higher than anticipated.
It is our experience that even the smallest amount can make an enormous difference. No one should have to worry about losing his/her home, car, or keeping utilities on during a time of mourning. We can come together and help with the financial burden that Lisa now faces as a widow and allow her to grieve without the stress of finances.
