Please Read gems  story.
Hey all, as you can see from my beautiful picture i have two gorgeous children.
My son Gemahsis and my daughter Sapphire-bleu.
Gemahsis was diagnosed 1 month ago with a rare disease called Dyskeratosis congenita ctc1 a complex disease.
Symptoms ranging from short stature to bonemarrow faliure Lung diseases Low bone density (osteopenia) Digestive disease Immunologic diseases Cancers of the tongue, mouth, throat, stomach, colon and rectum Cancers of the blood and bone marrow (leukemia) .
Gemahsis is still having checks to see which symptoms hes developed.
So far he has Bonemarrow faliure so his red white and platlet cells no longer work so ever week he has platlet transfusion this has been happening since November 2016 .
He has also developed nutrapenia due to his white cell faliure .
So going out in public is a big NoNo so to supermarket, shops, partys, public transport ect.
Also he had to stop attending nursery which he loved .
He is 100% a peoples person so since he has been isolated staying at home has developed anger issues caused by lack of association and stimulation .
He actually loves being admited to hospital as he can play with the other children and chat up the nurses LOL.
You would think this is strange as he may get load of niddles and injections but Gemahsis has central line with two lumens which gives direct access to his vains .
He has undergone 3 operations just for his centrail line as problems accured with the 1st and 2nd one.
Its a long bendy line thats inserted into the bigest vein that enters his heart so medications bloods and blood test can be done with no screaming .
Most of Gems body is covered in bruises and he bleeds regularly due to his low platlets he also develops hematomas any bumps can cause internal bleeding .
Gems weight is big issues he is waiting a transplant but due to him being unnder weight he would have to gain enough weight to have it done before a doner came avaliable .
At the momment gem  has an NG tube it goes down his throat and into his stomach and has a 12hour feed over night .
which is helping as he was only 8kg but now puting on weight and at the moment he weighs 9kg 2 for a 3year old hes quite underweight however he has always been small as at birth he was only 3"11 .
I'll add picture so you can all see my beautiful Emperor. OK so the money that i raise i would like to build a small out house and buy climbing frames and toys so that i can start up a little centre in my garden for children who are homebound and nutrapenic so we can have somewhere to come together and our kids wont be so alone .
Thanks for reading Gem Gems story.

So Gemahsis had a transplant on the 12th of October 2017 and it was
successful however there were
many complications he developed
Sepsis Shock ,Organ faliure and VOD
So our beautyful son lost his fight
and passed away on the
23rd of Novemeber 2017 @ 11Am

We are now trying to raise some
money for his burial plot and head
stone.
