You all know we are a small but highly capable school. Budget cuts have been a problem, but our community has found ways to keep our educators working .
We have many portables, and large class sizes. We are growing quickly and need so much more in the way of funds and space.

Here is a description of what we would like donations for:
Presently we have the die cut machines, but we have limited die cuts. This is especially challenging for teachers using the single set of letters. When using the fancy style of letters that we presently have available, it creates additional learning challenges for struggling readers. In addition, research supports that students who have experiences with multiple styles of letters have fewer future challenges in reading. We would like to provide teachers with additional more appropriate options to increase their potential to build strong readers. In addition, the additional alphabet and content specific die cut options (states and regions) will provide our students with more options to use when creating posters and displays of their work.
Alphabet capitals - $400
Alphabet lower case - $400
Storage- $120
Content specific die cuts - $375
Estimated Shipping - $80
Tax $115.50
The other option is a set of student cameras to start a photography club.
Sony digital with stabilization and video feature approximately $118 each. We could get 10 cameras and have students work together in partners.
Bonnie has many other ideas, and I'm Leaving it to her excellent judgment on how to spend the funds if we get less than our goal.
