Fighting The Fight For Rissa

Rissa is my best friend. She goes above and beyond for everyone. She lives her life doing God's work and pays it forward every chance. She's a medical assistant and treats each patient like her own child. She loves with all she's got and smiles through the chronic pain. Rissa was born with a congenital melanocytic nevus. She was severe nerve damage, degenerative disc disease, scoliosis and excruciating pain. The birth defect is so rare that only specialty hospitals have the staff that can treat it and get her the help she needs to enjoy life with her daughters, significant other and doggy. She fights every day and goes to work so she will still qualify for Obamacare and can put food on the table. She was too proud to ask for help so her friends have pulled together to help for her. She needs $5,000 to walk through the doors of the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. Air fare, hotel and a rental car is not included in that. At times she cannot drive because of radiating pain so needs to have someone there to help her. Let's all pull together to help Rissa continue this fight and win. Anything helps.
