Patrick Trant's Eagle Scout Project

Hello Friends and Family!
I have been in Boy Scouts since the rank of Tiger in Cub Scouts. Through the years, I have gained valuable skills, made lasting friends and memories and have grown both in leadership and character. Currently, I am a Life Scout in Twin Rivers Council, Troop 3036 working towards my Eagle. My Eagle project is my last step towards achieving the prestigious rank of Eagle. An Eagle Scout project requires me to plan a project, to recruit volunteers, to acquire materials and to lead the project.
My project is to build a horse shed for minis at STEP (Saratoga Therapeutic Equestrian Program) a non-profit organization.

The shed is needed to protect the horses especially when surprise weather occurs. The shed will provide a shelter for the horses to escape the bad weather. The horses are used in STEP's lessons for disabled children.
I am planning to have the project done by the end of August 2013. I plan on clearing an area at STEP to build the shed. I will use older scouts and adults to build and assemble the shed. I will then use younger scouts and other volunteers to help paint and perform finishing touches, such as tightening screws, sweeping and putting down stone dust. I expect that the project will take about ten full work days to complete.
This is where I need your help! After developing the plans and determining the expenses, I found that I will need to raise $1,000 for this project. Please donate any amount. All tax deductible donations will go directly to STEP in my name; STEP will then fund the materials (All labor is donated by Volunteers and myself).
