Working but homeless needing help

2014 was a banner year for me. Even though I had cancer surgery, I still had hope because I was hired by Broward College to teach religious studies classes before I graduated. I was to start part time as an adjunct and then get a full time position in the fall. Not only did I not get the full time position but I severely underestimated the effects of cancer. I have kept my job but lost our house in October 2016. We lived in my van until it died. The timing belt snapped and They have to take the engine apart and replace parts. They want $1000 to fix it. Please help me and my son get mobile.
