Have you met Laurie Ross? Well if you haven’t, you should! She’s a beautiful soul who radiates positive, kind, loving energy. She’s the kind of person you want to be around. She’s the person you can always count on and she never asks for help, even when she needs it the most. And right now she needs it more than ever. Laurie was diagnosed with Stage-3 uterine cancer in September of 2016. Currently, she is undergoing radiation and has the opportunity to have surgery in Chicago at the Cancer Institute to greatly increase her chance of survival. However, Laurie is drowning in a sea of past due bills, and is afraid she is going to be evicted from her apartment while she is away undergoing treatment so she has postponed her surgery in Chicago. Laurie is the strongest person I have ever met, but right now she needs the help of her friends, family and people she has yet to meet.
