Help!!!

I need help paying for a new roof that leaks when it rains. I bought my home 4 years ago knowing it would need one but not realizing it would be right away. I have tried to save for one this whole time but every time I get a little saved, something happens and takes me back to where I started. I know, if I lied I could claim it on my homeowners insurance. I cannot lie. It goes against everything I believe in. I had been told by many that I had to make people feel sorry for me in order to get help on Go Fund Me. This is not in my nature as I feel it comes across like I'm scamming people. I believe in do unto others as you would have done to you. I am the type to give when I can. I must admit that giving money isn't something I do. I tend to help by giving food, rides, shelter, or whatever help doesn't involve cash unless I'm handing it over to the place that needed to be paid to provide the help. If you find that you too are like this and want to actually pay for the roof or materials to replace it, I would be so very grateful.  I have always worked for what I needed and what I have. I am grateful for what I own and am proud of myself for achieving it all. The tangible and the non-tangible. Asking for help is a difficult thing for me to do.
