Rebuilding my life

So after seventeen years of marriage things have ended. My husband developed a lethal bird allergy, and we both decided it was time to go our own ways. I could probably have just given all my birds away, walked away from them, and left them wondering why the Mommy who hand raised them left them with strangers somehwere, why there were no more treats and cuddles, and why they were now "just chickens", but I can't do that. So I am moving to Vancouver Island where I have friends, and can set up a small business to sustain myself and my birds. The money will be going to moving, setting up the business, and to sustaining ourselves until we can look after ourselves. We will be extremely grateful for anything we get, and even small donations mean a great deal. It's hard to set up a new chapter in my life, but with a little help I'm sure we can go far.
