Dakota just turned 3 in february. If you have ever met Dakota you know he will melt your heart with jokes and smiles instantly. He never once acted like he was sick or hurting. Our story begins with his little sister having a 15 month check up. At the appointment I noticed swollen lymph nodes on his neck asked the pediatrician to peak at him... expected nothing as he did and next thing we know we are in Chapel Hill for the fight of his life. Dakota loves everyone and is so witty. I never imagined I would be asking for help for anything like this but I have too as medical bills and care for our other children are going to be adding up Please help us if you can thank you all and continue to pray for my warrior

Another procedure and round of chemo done waiting for pre op for g tube but really this morning I want to give thanks for 2 sweet 9 year old girls in our neighborhood. Ava and Molly are doing something so amazing for Dakota. They on their own are going around the neighborhood cleaning cars houses even yards to raise money for Dakota. Dakota loves fire trucks soooo much and this year we are hoping Santa brings Dakota a power wheels fire truck! So he can drive his little sister around fighting fires in the neighborhood. All the money these sweet little angels raise will go towards our goal of that truck under the tree this year!!! I just want to thank them and everyone who continue to bless our family we are beyond blessed even in such a horrific time in our lives....we just want to share what these sweet little girls are doing as such an incredible story about how love for someone can change everything . We are deeply appreciative girls!

keep the faith , ben and raishael and family. for those who may not know, because i didnt, you have to qualify for st. judes. they have to have an opening on a trial that you fit in to. so not everyone can have it free. so, thank you for all your assistance for my son and his family, as you can imagine, this is all new, one step and day at a time. raishael is a nurse and very versed in seeking out all available resources and qualified professionals. prayers are priceless beyond measure.

You should look into St. Jude Children's hospital. St. Jude does everything free and provides a place to stay for the family too. They are super great. I have know two people that has children with cancer and both families took this route.

We took donations at our Halloween Party at Wrightsville Beach on 10/28. Turnout was not as good as we had hoped, but we put it together late, and was not as organized as I/we should have been. Big thanks to Chad and Jill Bridge for being the 1st to donate, as well as their guest. We plan to do this next year, and will organize earlier, and better!
