Little Shop of Horrors
Donation protected
New Kent Trojan Theatre led by Tori Kesling will be performing Little Shop Of Horrors in conjunction with the Trojan Marching Band led by Joey Williams March 9th, 10th, and 11th at New Kent High School at 7pm.
Little Shop of Horrors is a horror comedy rock musical, by composer Alan Menken and writer Howard Ashman, about a hapless florist shop worker who raises a plant that feeds on human blood and flesh. The musical is based on the low-budget 1960 black comedy film The Little Shop of Horrors. The music, composed by Menken in the style of early 1960s rock and roll, doo-wop and early Motown, includes several well-known tunes, including the title song, "Skid Row (Downtown)", "Somewhere That's Green", and "Suddenly, Seymour".
New Kent Trojan Theatre & Marching Band are producing Little Shop Of Horrors for this years musical. With producing such an in depth show funds are needed for things such as; set, rights, costumes, lights, orchestra, and more. We would appreciate it greatly if there was any amount of funds you could donate to us so we can produce this show and allow New Kent High School students the opportunity to grow as artists with theatre.
As a thank-you for your sponsorship we are happy to offer you one or more of the following based on your donation amount:
-Tickets to the performance of your choice
-Special seating for the show
-Recognition in every playbill
-Little Shop T-Shirts
-Recognition in our social media accounts
All of this, plus the opportunity to enrich the lives of approximately 50 students, staff, parents and community supporters in New Kent as well as the pride you will feel when you experience the amazing performance and know that your generous contribution made it all possible.
Warmest Regards,
