Threefolding Outreach Packages

We at Threefold Now ("we" means me and the Threefold Idea) are raising $333 to pay for "threefold care packages" to be sent to certain world leaders who we sense may be receptive to the idea of a Threefold Evolution—a higher separation of the powers of culture, state, and business—to be achieved in our lifetime.

THE THREE RECIPIENTS:

$333 will be enough to cover the cost of the books, materials, and shipping to three international addresses. Here are the three recipients—two organizations and one individual:

1) The Elders is a London-based circle of world leaders founded by Nelson Mandela, who is still considered the guiding persona. One of the twelve Elders, Desmond Tutu (known as "South Africa's moral conscience"), is quoted in the threefolding books which will be enclosed in the package.

There are several references to Mandela in the enclosed books, including a photo of Mandela visiting the Waldorf school in Cape Town.


2) The World Future Council is based in Hamburg, Germany. The enclosed threefolding books include quotes from three of the Councillors:

• Ibrahim Abouleish (Egypt), co-founder of the council. Abouleish is a threefolder.
• Manfred Max-Neef (Chile)
• Ernst Ulrich von Weizsäcker (Germany). He wrote a foreword to one of Nicanor Perlas' threefolding books.

These "care packages" would provide these sixty-eight individuals with an opportunity to live up to their title as Elder representatives of humanity, and Councillors and Ambassadors for a humane future.

3) Jens Stoltenberg is a Waldorf graduate and former prime minister of Norway. On October 1st, he will become Secretary-General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization—the most mighty military alliance in the history of humanity. With destructive words flying around Russia and the Islamic State, it is a good time to bring in a fresh perspective. It would be a mistake to assume that without access to healing social concepts, a healthy upbringing will necessarily result in humane insight and responsiveness in regard to political-military events.



CONTENTS:

The packages will contain...

1) A cover letter. The letters to the Elders and World Future Council will call out the name of each of the twelve Elders and each of the fifty-six Councillors and Ambassadors.
2) A copy of Towards Social Renewal (a.k.a. The Threefold State, The Threefold Commonwealth, or Basic Issues of the Social Question) by Rudolf Steiner.
3) The Idea (a book about advanced trisecting in America)
4) World Wide Trisecting (a book about global trisecting)
5) Solving Burning Conflicts (a booklet about ending ethnic and sectarian wars through the separation of culture and state)
6) An issue of Lilipoh magazine (Fall 2013) containing my article on the separation of nation and state.*
7) Three hand-made stick flags for each of the Councillors and Elders, and for Jens Stoltenberg. They will be bundled and labelled with each recipient's name, with the offered trisected flag designs for each recipient's native country. They will be asked to share the books, but each will receive their own set of threefold flags. (Yes, that will mean the package sent to Hamburg will be pretty big, with 56 sets of stick-flags.)

Wherever one of the recipients is mentioned or quoted in the threefolding books, these pages—along with other especially relevant sections—will be marked with post-it tabs.

This package is crafted to make an impression. Even if it takes awhile for the idea to sink in, the books, with their full-color illustrations and maps, will likely find a not-too-dusty place in someone's bookshelf. And the paper-and-wood stick flags are a tangible, evocative image. (I made similar stick-flags for an art exhibit in the Harlemville farmstore last year.)

We do not expect a lightning-quick comprehension or response. This would be a humble yet straightforward effort to sow seeds.

STRETCH GOALS:

If we reached more than $333, then packages would be sent to others, such as Oren Lyons (a Haudenosaunee/Iroquois wisdomkeeper), Medea Benjamin (a peace advocate), Lobsang Tenzin (a former prime minister of the Tibetan governance-in-exile), and Wendell Berry. First things first though.

REWARDS:

If you don't want me to mail rewards (flags) to you, then don't fill out your address.

In regard to the "Equality-Level" and "Fraternity-Level" rewards: email me if you want a different set of threefold flags than what your mailing address indicates as your homeland.

Actually, we'll send flags to anyone who desires it, regardless of whether you materially contributed or not. Email us if you would like us to make a Michaël flag for you, and/or a set of threefold flags for a certain country.
