Help Us Save The Ogemaw Nature Park

Aaron Brookshire and I are the current caretakers of the Ogemaw Nature Park. Today we got some unsettling news from Ogemaw County saying that they needed to make cuts and unfortunately the park would be one of them. They want to shut down our beloved park that has been here for nearly 70 years and possibly put down all 14 deer including 3 albino and 1 piball deer or to relocate them. This park has been a favorite among many family's all over the US! Where else could you go to a beautiful out doors setting have lunch, let your kids play and feed live deer. I know my girls love it out here and would be devastated to leave and never come back. Many families have so many memories going back generations coming to this park and feeding the deer. Heck my own father use to help out caring for the deer including the big guy in the museum. So let's as a community help save this beautiful family place. We would like to start our own organization with the help of Scott Bell, much like the Ten Lakes sportsman club (which is non existing now) to do fundraisers and fund the park like they use too. We need to renew our USDA license first and foremost. We are also working on getting our non profit and tax exempt licensing to be able to start the organization. We will be using the funds to get those to stay open and eliminate as much cost as we can on the county. Our goal is to raise as much money as we can to fund the park as well as getting the proper licenses. So please please help us keep our beautiful park up and running! Thank you all!!

Let us start by telling everyone in no way, shape, of form are we working "against" the county! We are trying our absolute hardest to raise as much money possible before the next meeting to HELP the county!
The goFundme account was only set up to HELP the county with all of the costs for the deer park! Every time of that account will go right into the counties hands or right back to the donors pocket if things dont go well at the next commissioners meeting. We ask everyone and anyone who has ever supported this park to please attend this meeting in behalf of our beautiful deer!
