Dear Christian Family and Friends,
I have been traveling to Haiti with my Women's Ministry since 2013. I am so passionate and devoted to helping our brothers, sisters, and friends in Haiti. We have spread our help and love to hundreds over the yearsa nd we want to continue. I am deeply commited and passionate about helping others and I know that you are too.
This coming summer, June 1-8, 2017. Lady Prayer Warriors Corp will travel to Haiti! I have been chosen to -represent our Women’s Ministry! We will visit many of the deep poverty stricken villages to offer relief. We will go to Northern Haiti, Cap Haitien. We will give out food, clothes, books, supplies, medicine, and our love. In the wake of all of the devastation that has happened to Haiti, our friends really need our help.
This trip provides an opportunity to meet the physical and spiritual needs of these communities. More than anything, I would value your prayers for our team and those whose lives that will be touched by God through us. I believe that God answers prayers, and I’m asking you to pray for safety, good health, smooth travel, and financial support. Just knowing that you will be praying will give me peace as I go on this journey to help others. Beyond your prayers, if you are led to join us by financially supporting this mission, we would be grateful. Our group needs to raise just over $5,000 to cover some of the cost of the trip for me. Your donation and assistance will cover the following: food, shelter, security, translators, transportation, supplies, and travel needs. We will also use funds to support their local marketplace to buy food for the orphanages. Your donations will help with clothing, medical assistance, gospel tracts, toiletries, personal items, and much more to aid our Haitian brothers and sisters. We are also planning to ship barrels of food, school supplies, clothing, water, and toiletries along with us. In addition, if you would like send a barrel of selected items, one barrel costs $300 to fill.
We will have to be creative to raise the money, and I want to extend an invitation to you to participate. This is a journey that God has called us to and we would greatly appreciate any level of support you are able to offer.
