Hello,
My name is Analia Esquer and I am in my 1st year at Mesa Community College in San Diego, CA. My college has recently announced that they are taking a group to study abroad in Paris, France. The trip is for one month in July and I would love to go!
While I will be traveling out of the country I must mention that this is not a vacation. During this study abroad we will be visiting several of the historical places in Paris such as a walking tour of the Latin Quarter, with visits to the Notre Dame Cathedral, Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Montmartre, and many other wonderful places. While visiting Paris I hope to learn more about how the language and art work in France so I have a more rounded knowledge of world.
The trip is a total of $5,000. This cost covers airfare, meals, hotel, and admission to the scheduled tours. In addition to that total, I’ll also need to pay for luggage and anything travel, I would also like to have a little spending cash.
I am currently in the process of generating and saving funds for this opportunity by finding a student loan and cutting back on all costs. I plan to take out a portion of money from my emergency savings account and I plan to utilize my creativity to find other means of raising money.
While I know there are others who are less fortunate than I that have GoFundMe requests please do not view this as a frivolous request for help. I truly feel this learning experience will assist me in helping others in the future. See it, rather, as an investment for the future.
