Omolere Education fund

I was born in Nigeria in the mid 60's I  had the opportunity  to have a wonderful education paid for by my parents Rev S. A Omolere and Mrs S. A.  Omolere Who were both teachers.  At the moment I work in UK in the health sector. I recently returned to Nigeria and noticed the challenges facing children in the poor financial and worse environment than we grew up.  Such as lack of electricity, children reading with touch lights, lack of money to buy books and lack of opportunity for good education. I listened daily to stories of parents unable to pay school fees and children quitting their education due to lack of funds.  I saw a lot of children with hunger and thirst in their eyes for knowledge education and opportunity to better themselves.  I realised once upon a time that was me.  Without the education I received in Nigeria I will not be in the position I am today.  To venture out of my country and make a success of my life.  In honour of my late parents and late brother Mr Sunday Adegboyega Omolere who were big advocates for good education in commonality were all teachers in their life time. I want to raise funds  to do my bit for humanity.  Provide scholarship for students, through Omolere education fund.  Provide books and good lights for reading to as many students as I can support.   The more money I can raise the more people I can help.  The fact is, we are not on this planet for ever. When we are gone wouldn't it be nice to leave a legacy behind of  helping others and living the planet better than we met it. That's my dream.  #A selfless life.
