Help Dylan DESTROY Leukemia

Dylan is a happy, smart and silly two year old and twin brother to Tyler. He always has a smile on his face and is one of the sweetest boys you’ll ever meet. Dylan has always been a thinker, and likes to take his toys apart to "see how they work". This is why his parents have nicknamed him Dylan the Destroyer. 

On January 18, 2017, Dylan was diagnosed with Acute Lymophblastic Leukemia, Pre-B. As a result, he was admitted to Children's Hospital for 9 days and he has already undergone a minor surgery to implant a central line (mediport), has had a bone marrow test, two spinal taps, multiple blood transfusions and has begun his chemotherapy. Dylan is doing very well and his body has been very receptive to the treatments/procedures performed thus far. However, he has a long road to recovery ahead.

Since we have received an enormous outreach of family and friends asking how they can help and inquiring about a GoFundMe account, I, Dylan's Mèmé (grandmother), along with his other grandparents, decided to create this page to help his family with the medical costs they will be incurring while fighting the battle of their lives.

We’ll continue to provide updates on Dylan's status. In the interim, Dylan wants everyone to know how strong he is and that we WILL beat this, Leukemia will NOT win! Help Dylan and the rest of the Akers family destroy cancer!
