As a Father of 3 kids under 7, I started hearing so many stories around us about kids getting diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, or having behavioral problems, or just not engaging well with school. I started to realize how much they sit down every single day.When they wake up they sit down to have breakfast. Then they sit down on the bus on the way to school. Then they sit down all day in class. They sit down during lunch. Then they get picked up and sit on the bus. When they get home from school, they're sitting on the couch watching TV or playing video games. When you add it up, they're sitting on their butts 6-10 hours per day.I started #StandUpOurKids as a movement to shift this paradigm. I know it's going to take a lot of work. And guess what? I'm going to put in all the work until every child in America has the choice to stand up in the classroom. Quitting on this movement means I'm quitting on our children, and our future generations. I'm in this thing for life.Join me and help me raise funds to place standing desks in schools for these kids!! Ps. If you don't believe in the movement, it doesn't matter.
