This is a very heartbreaking story: Nafez Jamal Safar, a 35 year old male recently diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, newly married, no children. Nafez has the status of Syrian refugee in Lebanon. His lymphoma is totally treatable. The UN does not cover all the cost of chemotherapy and health care related to his illness. His story caught my heart, I followed up with people on the ground who were able to get me more information about him, his precarious situation and his family. I was able to communicate with his oncologist and wife through a friend of mine who visited them a couple of times. Nafez got only one cycle of treatment and he just missed his second cycle. His treatment protocol requires 12 cycles total. Please save his life!
