Anthony DeLordo is loved by many. He was born and raised in Downers Grove. He also considers Florida as his home. He spent many years living there and has many friends there as well.
Anthony recently moved to New Orleans. He devoted his time working with psychiatric patients. He loved helping people.
Anthony is not perfect. None of us are. He struggled with addiction. He went to treatment many year ago and beat the odds by staying clean for approximately 15 years. Sadly our mother who he was VERY close to lost her 3 year battle with cancer at home with us at her side. And Anthony lost his sobriety. If at this point you have the thought of "why didn't he suck it up" or if you think using drugs is a choice or a lack of will power, you are very wrong. For some that use that thought does apply but for someone who has the DIESEASE of addiction it does not. My brother beat the odds again and got clean. On his own. He then moved to New Orleans. He was happy. Great job, a home and a live in girlfriend. Unfortunately, he relapsed again. He hasn't been well since the passing of the greatest woman we have known. Drug addicts are not bad people. They are sick people. People in pain. That does not define him. He is loving, funny, brilliant. His addiction/mental health may or may not have ANYTHING to do with the fact he is missing. He has a substantial amount of money in his bank account. If he is on a binge he would be broke. I am including all of this information because I feel I need to be as honest as possible if I am asking for your help. If we can collect reward money I have a feeling someone will talk. SOMEONE KNOWS SOMETHING. Someone knows where he is. Or what has happened to him.
He was last seen October 31st. He had been drinking and maybe using. He took his girlfriends car to run a fast errand never to return. They haven't found her car yet either.
I am asking for donations to use as reward money. If no one comes forward, your donations will be returned so please leave your name when donating.

I am Anthony's sister. I live in Chicago. All donations will be used as reward money for my brother who is missing. I will hopefully be working with the media to get information to the public that there is a reward money raised on gofundme to be given to anyone that can lead us to Anthony.
We are working with NOLA Detectives who will provide us with the information of who comes forward. Or if someone comes forward and offers information to the family we can gather information that way.
If more than one person comes forward with equally important information leading to Anthony the money will be split equally.
Reward will be given via cashiers check or pay pal.
