A Reason To Dream

I am an Aboriginal women from Tamworth NSW Australia. I am a mum of 3 and nannii of 3. I have been blessed with a passion for art and telling stories through my art. It is the connection that I have with my culture that enables me to share a culture so strong and beautiful. Expressing myself through my art gives me a sense of belonging knowing that I can share that with others and they love my work is indescribably rewarding.I am a practicing artist and have exhibited throughout regional NSW and decided to apply for a residency in France stepping out of my comfort zone and wanting to share my culture and art with the world. I am extremely excited that I have been offered a place,however I need a little financial help. The total cost is $5000 which will cover flights, painting supplies, food and for the residency for 4 weeks at Chateau Orqueneaux in France,sharing art, being inspired and sharing cultural values. Any amount will help and I would be extremely grateful and humbled of any donation.
