Pay-It-Forward Gardening

Our project was started to share the benefits of permaculture with the Akron, Ohio area.

Permaculture has numerous benefits for the environment and communities---we can establish permaculture gardens all over the city that will take up little space, transform the landscape and feed anyone in need of fresh food. Permaculture can teach communities to come together and build a self-sustainable food source that costs very little money to implement and will give years and years of food with proper care.

Our aim is to supply the seeds and plants, teach participants to plant and care for them and then have them pay if forward to others wishing to do the same.
