Sofia's Accessible Van Fund

My name is Elissa Petersen. I am auntie to an awesome, precious little fighter named Sofia. Sofia was born with an undiagnosed congenital muscle disorder.  It causes her to have low muscle tone and makes it difficult for her to hold her head on her own and limits her mobility.  It makes her unable to participate in most normal toddler activities but she doesn't let that get her down.  She is brave and happy and loves to be independent and do things on her own. She lights up a room with her huge sassy personality.  Sofia's Dad, Jacob, and Mom, Febe are sweet, loving parents who live to make her life better.  Jacob works hard to support his family and caring for sweet sofia is Febe's full time job.  They recently got the word that Sofia is ready for a motorized wheelchair.  This is great news! Sofia will be able to have some freedom and the ability to move around a bit but they will need a modified vehicle in order to transport the wheelchair.  A modified or wheelchair-accessible vehicle can cost up to $60,000 but any little bit can help.   We will be so grateful if you would contribute in any way you can and please share so we can reach as many people as possible.  Thank you so much!
